Drip tube (cylindrical emitter)
Drip tube is considered a relatively cheap drip irrigation technology. Only drip tape is cheaper. The average wall thickness of the drip tube is 0.8 mm.
There are two types of drip tube: with built-in drippers; blind drip tube.
Drip tube with built-in drippers (emitters) – drippers (emitters) are installed inside the drip tube at certain fixed distances. The distances between emitters are different, but they are always the same length after 20,30,50,100 cm.
The principle of operation of the drip tube is similar to the principle of operation of the drip tape.
The drip tube can be dismantled when needed (usually at the end of the season) without any special difficulties or damage and reassembled the following year. Such mobility and flexibility are a significant advantage of the drip tube over the use of drip tape.
